About The Artist

Having attended art school for 4 years, especially one so traditional (The Cleveland Institute of Art) has facilitated a noticeable growth in the level of my work. This growth has manifested itself not only in craftsmanship and draftsmanship, but also intellectually and conceptually as I've learned to make better choices during the creative process.

The ability to deconstruct the content of all things we take interest in is an invaluable skill and one that all serious artists must develop. An artist must be honest with him or herself in order to understand not only their own work, but also the source behind their intuitive choices while creating their work. The process of learning this new way of “seeing” can be intense. After a period of dedicated study, art for me is now turning into play again and I feel my self coming back to the source, the reason I made the choice to devote myself to art in the first place - its fun!

The majority of my work is a mixed media of 2d concepts and 3d renderings of characters and imaginary worlds. My artistic philosophy (because what artist doesn’t have one?) is that I believe artists have the power to influence and shape the world we live in to a tremendous extent, and in order to do that we must first explore ourselves through play and creativity so that we can better understand the meaning of our manifestations.
